KNOW THE MYSTERY AND HISTORY OF SAMURAI FROM JAPAN

Dzargon. Ever heard of the term samurai sword, or samurai? Some people in Indonesia think that samurai is a kind of sword but that opinion is wrong. Samurai is not a weapon but a warrior or a man with a sword. Samurai (侍 or 士) were military officers from Japan at the elite level in the 11th century until the Meiji period. Samurai are very popular before the Industrialization period in Japan. Literally, the Samurai is an uptake of the ancient Japanese language of "samorau" or "saburau" meaning "to serve" therefore the samurai are actually servants to their masters.
Prior to the Industrialasasi era, precisely in Edo period, the man who carried the sword weapon was known by the name bushi (武士) with the meaning of "armed person" instead of Samurai. The samurai are not tied to the clan but must have an employer called Daimyo. Daimyo is described as a king in a japanese territory but is under the rule of the Shogun as the highest king of japan. The samurai who lost the Daimyo either because of war or because of the offense so expelled would be called Rounin.
At first the Samurai were the chosen people with remarkable combat power but retained the rules and customs so they had to be educated. Then because of the extraordinary power of the Samuaris, the function of the samurai turned into the army, especially in the Tokugawa with the connotation of the daimyas with swords and heavy armor accompanied by a mask, but in the era of Industrial reform in the 19th century in the Meiji period, Samurai were replaced with national troops with a system of rank adopted from the United States with firearms.
